Jay Alan Whitham

Jay Alan Whitham is a healer, teacher, counselor, author, and artist.  But before he was any of these things he was a musician.  Music has always been his first love and provided an important means of creative expression and spiritual connection.  A working guitarist from a very young age, in the 1960’s he played with many bands and shared bills with The Rolling Stones, The McCoys, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, Chuck Berry, Jerry Lee Lewis, and others.  Jay later attended Berklee College of Music and traveled and worked for many years playing clubs, concerts, and functions with groups of every description, and gaining experience with many types of music, including rock, rhythm and blues, pop, jazz, country, and folk styles.

In recent years, Jay has chosen to focus on solo and small group performing.  A rekindled love of acoustic music has lead to a strong interest in Celtic and other traditional music that, when mixed with the other musical styles he loves, results in an interesting, eclectic, and ever expanding repertoire. He brings to his audience a mix of music styles, storytelling, humor, and spiritual consciousness that always creates an intimate, joyful, and heartfelt experience for the listener and the performer.

Holy Breath - Sacred Sound Workshop

Please join us for an afternoon of expansion and empowerment.  Using a variety of breathing techniques to discover and clear blocked energy in our bodies and fields, will prepare us to expand further using toning and sacred sounds to balance and align our chakras.  Through this process we open to a deeper connection with our true Self and the courage to speak our truth.

Pam McMahon is a singer/Sacred Sounder, Transformational Breathwork Facilitator, and Reiki Master Teacher who lives in Green Creek, NC with her partner of 41 years, and two of their four sons.

Pam & Don McMahon love to love and they love to sing about love. The abundant love in our lives, beginning with our families of origin, extending through our co-created nuclear family and out into our global village, is the most precious gift we have received from the Source of All-That-Is. This is the gift that we extend to a world suffering from lack of it. All that exists in this world is energy vibrating at various frequencies, and sound is vibration, so everything is music. It is a universal channel of communication which transcends all boundaries of separation, goes straight for the heart, and resonates to the core of our being. At a time in our history when chaos, darkness, fear, confusion, conflict and violence are predominate stimuli, each of us needs nurturing, love, joy and spiritual upliftment. We seek harmony and cohesion, resolution and peace, and so the gift comes Straight From The Heart, in original and borrowed songs of love and hope, blended in the spirit of Oneness, and honoring the Divinity in all of us. We are all connected and our music is dedicated to awakening the experience of unity among all Beings. These harmonies are triggers to expand our awareness of who we are and what is going on in the deeper levels of our Being - on a Soul level - hence "Acoustic Music To Feed Your Soul."
